System Requirements

DotBill requires the following as a minimum specification to run adequately: -

Personal computer with an Intel Pentium 75-MHz or faster processor

64 MB of RAM or greater

450 MB of available hard-disk space

CD-ROM or DVD drive

A VGA or higher-resolution monitor is required. A Super VGA monitor with at least 800x600 resolution and 256 colours is recommended.

Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (ME)
Microsoft Windows 2000

A Microsoft Mouse, Microsoft IntelliMouse, or compatible pointing device is required.

DotAsset is a simple Asset Management system, capable of recording and tracking fixed Assets in your organisation.

By setting categories many different types of asset can be identified and recorded. Within the system assets are composed of a number of components, so changes to assets can also be tracked. Adding a component to an asset will also change the value, which is automatically adjusted. Similarly, removing a component will also automatically adjust its value. Eventually, when all components have been removed, the asset is marked as having been disposed of.

DotAsset will apply depreciation to your assets, depreciating the value of all the components, until the value of the asset is zero.

When assets are disposed of, the recipient is recorded as is any resale income received. This means that you can track what happens to any of your old equipment, either for reuse by someone else or for scrap.
